The report from 2nd Radon workshop of HERCA WG NAT in Lisbon was approved for publication
HERCA’s Reflections on the Revision of the System of Radiological Protection as approved by the HERCA Board in May 2022. The document was addressed to the ICRP and later presented at the ICRP Symposium in Vancouver in November 2022 by the HERCA Chair, Nina Cromnier.
This application document of the HWA approach was produced in order to give the opportunity, if need be and if relevant, to prepare, enhance and coordinate neighbouring European countries’ responses in the event of a NPP accident in Ukraine by using the available HERCA library.
This guidance aims to provide an overview of the different veterinary radiation therapy procedures that are performed in the different HERCA member countries. It also gives practical advice on safety measures on the matter.
