Starting 1 Jan. 2018, Karla Petrova is Chair of HERCA

At the last HERCA Board meeting in Warsaw, the members of HERCA Board elected Mrs Karla Petrová as next Chair of HERCA starting 1 January 2018. She will replace Mr Sigurður M. Magnusson, Chair of HERCA since 2012.
Mrs Karla Petrová is deputy director of the State Office for Nuclear Safety (SÚJB) of Czech Republic. Nuclear engineer, she has been working within SÚJB since 1996. She is a member of the Radiation Protection Standards Committee of the International Atomic Energy Agency (RASSC / IAEA), member of the Expert Group Article 31 of the Euratom Treaty to the EU (Article 31 / EU) and member of the Radiation Protection Committee And Public Health at NEA / OECD (CRPPH / NEA).
